How do I book a party?

 

 

Booking a party is easy! Simply follow these three easy steps:



1. Pick a package. Visit our Packages page to select the packages and activities that are right for you. 



2. Submit an online event request. Once you have submitted the form with your requested date, preferred character and desired package, you will be contacted within 48 hours to confirm availability.

*Please note that your date is NOT ​reserved until your deposit has been paid!



3. Pay your deposit. Once your deposit is paid, your reservation will be confirmed and you will pay the remaining balance, the day of the party.

FAQs

 

How far in advance should I book?

 

Booking early is always best to ensure that you secure the date of your choice! Within a 2-3 week period is usually ample time. We will even try to accomodate last minute bookings. We don't have a limit to how far in advance you can book. Even if your party is months away, we will accept bookings.

 

*Please note, some of our characters may require more than the two weeks advance booking, so the sooner you can submit a request, the better.

Which areas do you serve?

 

We serve Sioux Falls and the surrounding areas. We are willing to travel beyond those areas, as well. Please see our Service Area page, for more details. If you have a question concerning your area, please contact us at charActors@outlook.com

What ages are appropriate for your birthday parties?

 

We are happy to perform at birthday parties for children 10 years old and younger.

Are parents of guests able to participate?

 

Parents are welcome to join in on all of the activities, including singing, dancing and games! However, when needed, we do ask that all adults try to remain quiet and undisruptive.

 

*Please note, that all children need to be supervised by an adult at the party. Our characters provide entertainment, not supervision or discipline, and may need another adult to step in to help control unruly behavior of the guests. 

Can my party be held outside?

 

Yes! We are happy to join your outdoor party, as long as the temperature remains under 85 degrees and there is nothing falling from the sky. On sunny days, you will need to provide a shaded/covered area for the performer. If we're unable to meet you outdoors, due to extreme or inclement weather, we'll be happy to work with you to reschedule the party for a later date or time.

 

*Please know, all outdoor parties will include an extra fee, which covers upkeep of our wigs and costumes.

Is there anything I need to provide for the party?
 

Most of the materials and items needed for all of the games, crafts and other activities are included with your package, but there are some minor requirements for a successful party:

 

 

  • A table for crafts, coloring, etc., is ideal

  • Ample room for crafts, games and dancing

  • Designated areas for picture taking

 

 

Along with your event contract, we will send you info about how to have a successful party!

What if I need to cancel my party?

 

If you haven't already paid your deposit, simply contact us and we'll be happy to cancel or reschedule your party. There will be no charge for canceling or rescheduling the party if you have not paid the deposit.

Will you come to my party venue?

 

Of course! We're happy to attend parties at any location, whether it's in a party room, a restaurant, or right in your own home.

Can I serve food at my party?

 

We support feeding your guests! We do ask that nothing sticky or messy be served while our performers are present. This will help us avoid stains when the children hug our performers. For this reason, we suggest the cake be served as our performers are leaving the party.

How many children can be at my party?

 

All of our packages are geared toward a maximum of 12 children. If you are expecting more little guests, extra fees may apply or it may be suggested you add an additional 30 minutes. Please see our Packages page, for pricing info.

 

Do you provide a photographer/helper for my party?

 

We take the believability of our characters very seriously, so you will not see a photographer/helper arriving with our characters and following them around. However, we are happy to provide a photographer for your party, upon request, if possible!

 

Do your performers lead all the activities?

 

Yes! All of our performers are trained to lead the activities you have chosen for your party. We do not send a helper along to do these activities for them.
